Iām Liesbet Neesen.
I am an artist, architect and interior designer. My work explores the relationship between art, architecture and the spaces we call home.
For more than twelve years, I have worked in architecture and interior design, creating high-end homes where space, materiality and atmosphere come together. Throughout those years, I have come to believe that beautiful spaces are about more than aesthetics. They shape how we experience everyday life and have the ability to make us feel more at home.
I believe beauty matters. Not simply because it can be seen, but because it can be felt. A thoughtfully designed home, a carefully composed space or a painting can bring a sense of ease, invite us to slow down and enrich the way we experience our surroundings.
That same belief shapes everything I create.
My paintings are made to live with people over time. They are created as works of art in their own right, while also bringing atmosphere and depth to the spaces they inhabit. Sometimes they become the focal point of a room. Sometimes they quietly belong. In both cases, they are intended to create a lasting connection with the people who live alongside them.
Whether I'm designing a home, developing an interior or creating a painting, my approach is always the same. I begin by understanding the architecture, the context and the people. From there, I look for balance. Between beauty and function. Between refinement and warmth. Between timeless design and everyday life.
Life is constantly evolving. Our homes become the backdrop to that journey. My aim is to create architecture, interiors and artworks that people continue to love for years to come. Places that feel welcoming, personal and timeless.
If my work resonates with you, I'd love to hear about your project.
